School Daze May 30,2016

Memorial Day weekend is here!

Hope you are enjoying time with family and friends.

Monday, May 30, 2016 members of the Alvirne High School Bronco Marching Band and Colorguard will need to report to Alvirne by 12:30 p.m..  The annual Hudson Memorial Day Parade will step off from Hannaford's plaza at 2:00 p.m.. We will be returning to Alvirne approximately 3:00 p.m..
This is a  graded performance, students who do not attend will need to see me (Mr. Bastien) for make up work. We also will be videoing the parade to use as our Disney audition for April 2017.

Upon returning to Alvirne, students will need to help dismantle marching uniforms for cleaning. There will be "How To" instructions written on the board for reference.

Speaking of uniforms,  Mrs.  LeBlanc will be mailing out the postcards this week with the dates for upcoming fittings. Juniors and Seniors will be fitted on June 21 and 23, Sophomore fittings will be June 28 and 30.  Freshman will be July 12 and 14.
Parents - we need help as uniforms are a major undertaking. Please sign up on CHARMS!

Senior instrumental parents who returned the dinner form,(as this is a reserved seated event), this is a reminder to be at the Harris Pelham Inn by 6:30 p.m.. The dress for this evening is business casual.

IMPORTANT GRADUATION  INFORMATION!

June 16, 2016 is graduation.  It is also the last day of school regarding exams THEREFORE, students will need to report to Alvirne by 4:30 p.m..  FOM WILL NOT BE FEEDING THEM!
Students need to eat prior to coming back to AHS.

After graduation, students who have siblings who are graduating may leave with their parents. Please send an email to my attention (gbastien@sau81.org)
If you will be taking your graduate out to dinner prior to graduation and you would like their sibling to join them - it is your responsibility to have them at the Verizon by 6:00 p.m.. Those students will also be responsible to take their own instruments.

Hope to see everyone on the parade route  celebrating and remembering the true meaning of Memorial Day.
