Gillette Stadium Information

The following was mailed out this morning

September 20, 2011
Dear Parents, Band Members and Colorguard,

The following is a schedule of events for the day with regards to the 16th annual High School Night at Gillette Stadium.

OCTOBER 1, 2011 - SCHEDULE FOR 16th annual High School Night – Gillette Stadium

1:00 p.m. FOM Chaperones report to load truck.
(If you would like to come earlier no problem Mrs. B and I will be at school by noontime).

Students will need to get their uniforms and leave them in their bags. They may want to bring a snack for the ride.

2:40 p.m. Roll call to board busses

3:00 p.m. Busses leave for Gillette Stadium

4:30 p.m. Busses arrive at Gillette Stadium

5:00 p.m. Sound Check (band and colorguard)

I have not received all the final details from our contact person at Gillette. I do know that the band will be playing in the stands and at some point we will be performing our half time show. Please, remember that your student needs to either bring a lot of money for the concession stands at Gillette or brown bag it. They need to eat and hydrate!
Students will not be allowed to “hang out” with parents, siblings or friends as this is a music department performance. All performers need to be with the band/colorguard the entire time. This is not like the 3rd quarter break on a Friday night at Alvirne.

7:30 p.m. Game starts, band plays in the stands and at some point will be escorted to the warm up area.

9:30 p.m. Students will board busses for the return trip to Hudson

All students will be coming back to AHS on the busses. E T A 11:30 p.m.

Final Reminder: This is a scheduled non-district event. THIS will be included as a performance grade- besides this will be one of the most memorable times for any member of the Alvirne High School Bronco Marching Band and Colorguard. What a way to “strut our stuff” in the coolest stadium of New England!

Please tell all your family and friends to come and support our endeavors!
If you have any questions or concerns please call me at 886-1265 or email

Musically Yours,
