Alvirne Band, A Year in Review 2008-2009

Another year passes. The Seniors have graduated and the Freshman will soon arrive. In commemoration of another successful fun-filled year in Alvirne Band, the annual "Ice Cream Social" welcomed the new performers and said farewell to the seniors. Among the the speeches, stories, and memories the traditional "A Year in Review" video was shown. Here it is in all its glory, presented in three parts.

The trip kick-off meeting was on held June 25 to inform the band members and parents about what a Disney trip is all about. Mr. Landry and Mr. Bastien provided the particulars of the trip and the wisdom of seasoned band trip travelers. The items of note were:

• Get involved in fundraising
• Your deposit of $150 is due by July 15
• Want to chaperon? Make inquiries with Mr. Bastien
